From an accounting perspective in Cirrus8, there are no additional functions that require processing at the end of financial year. You can simply close off the Month of June in the regular end of month fashion. (See Month End notes here: Month End)
Calendars
Once you have completed June month end, you should close your calendars so the system then shows the current calendar as being period 1 of the new financial year.
See below screenshot from Configuration > Manage Calendar:

EOFY Reports for Owners
For our Owners, we can send them an End of Financial Year Statement which can be issued via the Owner Report function. The Report to use is called an Annual Financial Summary:

The report is a simple cash based Profit & Loss (or Income & Expenditure) report that shows income received, expenses paid, GST received & paid, opening cash balances, funds remitted to the owner and a closing cash balance for each month.
This can be run for all properties for the required financial year, including inactive properties.
Inactive Properties
Please note that some inactive properties will not require a statement for the current financial year as they have been made inactive in a prior financial year. The system will list these properties in a red warning box and you can simply click ‘Refresh Properties’ to filter these out.
Step 1: Click Refresh Properties

Step 2: Properties in the red warning box will be filtered out and you can continue to run reports for properties only with transactions processed in the relevant financial year

Cover Letter
If you would like to add a Cover Letter to the EOFY statement sent to your owners, you can do this by first configuring a letter under Manage Letter Templates - see notes here: Manage Letter Templates
The category you will need to use for creating the letter template is COVER LETTER. You will need to configure this letter using the text you would like and placeholders available. (Please note that Cirrus8 does not have a template letter for this and the letter will need to be drafted per your requirements).
Once the letter is configured and you are ready to issue your EOFY statements to owners, you will select ‘Include Cover Letter' in the Advanced Options section. This will go out with the Cover Letter as the leading page and the EOFY statement following.
