Updates to Receipting Dates

In line with Audit requirements, we have introduced a new date field to the receipting screen. The new date field is called '@bank' and will be used for recording the date in which funds have been received into the Trust Account.

By default, this date will be set to the Receipt date and will remain as such in the vast majority of cases.  We envisage that the '@bank' date will only be changed when removing an Adjustment from a previous period and receipting to the correct tenant account in the current period.

The example below reflects a receipt being processed on the 19th April 2022, for funds received on the 25th March 2022 which have been sitting in Adjustments whilst awaiting identification.

(Please note that this transaction will be reflected on the 19th April for ALL cash based reports, as per normal)

Printed Receipts

Printed Receipts will now reflect 3 dates:

1: Receipt Date (19th April 2022)

2: Date Completed (20th April 2022)

3: @Bank (25 March 2022)

Trust Ledger / Cashbook

When producing a Trust Ledger (Cashbook), you will now have the added option of showing the AP Invoice #, Processing Date OR @Bank Date when running this to Screen or PDF (Please note that this is due to size restrictions when printing to PDF).

When running this report to Excel, both dates and the AP Invoice # fields will be included
